Folded Structure Bird’s Nest

Introduction

This design takes inspiration from a bird’s nest for the speaker, aiming to create the impression of bird sounds being naturally transmitted through the speaker. In the model-making process, 3mm wood panels were selected as the primary material. Extensive research and design were conducted for the bending structures, resulting in a smoother visual effect. Additionally, to better integrate the bird’s nest into the natural environment, various surface treatment techniques were explored and tested.
